WOFAN marks 2013 International women’s Day with Women Empowerment items and Equipment to 200 women in Kano state.

2500 bags of groundnut , 500 traditional and modern groundnut oil extraction equipment distributed to 200 women groups across Kano and Katsina state to mark 2013 International Women’s Day . It is in conuation of the 2 year partnership project between Katsina State government and WOFAN.

 Tabawa Jibrin – women leader from Chiranchi Kumbotso LGA during the speak out forum organized by WOFAN for women groups to discuss and take action on issues affecting the wellbeing of women and girls in the society to mark the 2013 International women’s day.

 Azumi Mohammed leader  from Semegu community during the speak-out forum organized by WOFAN. “Give women a voice and opportunity they will shapen up their lives towards  self reliance and opportunity in the society”  as they receive  their empowerment equipment from WOFAN to mark the 2013 International Women’s Day.
